Timeline to Task Completion
Key Phases
Initial Phase 1
October 2026 when we will hold the 1st village forum to announce the Neighbourhood Plan Review, describe details of the work to be done and to form the Village Steering Group who will guide the process on your behalf.
Phase 2
This is all about building the Evidence - drafting a vision and set Objectives for our work, we will meet with Harborough Planning Authority our partner who will assist our Journey.
Phase 3
Writing the Plan when we start to refine the issues, set a clear vision for the final plan as a result of our engagement and evidence gathering process.
Phase 4
This is the legal part were all our work is independently assessed and examined, an examiners report is produced and we make recommended changes in partnership with HDC.
The Referendum
We then publish the document as a result of the examination and a public vote called a referendum is made, if the vote of the villagers is positive the plan is adopted!
